  • Led a team to develop an interface for the existing website software, enabling a newly developed iOS mobile app to access existing code and accelerate its market Created a second display for cart and checkout pages using CSS, minimizing specialized code and allowing theme changes without new page creation.   • Modified Hallmarks WordPress site used to help customers with gift giving ideas and various craft I added a new font library and modified all the css to switch on certain custom headers and blog areas to display the new font without impacting other areas of the existing code.   • Modified Slot configurations so the business could attach a specialized banner to a content slot being currently I created several new parameters to pull in various content assets to a template to create the banner to be displayed. This also reduced the overhead of large image files that often times were too large and complex to physically download. All banners created were fully resizable based on display size.   • Optimized Kronos HTML tree display component by replacing tables being used for layout with div elements, removal of client cached elements, and better use of AJAX and DOM display The work I did lead to an increase in display speed from 36 seconds to 6 seconds and a 40% reduction in browser cache space when loaded.
